調查研究 Background Research
時裝業在世界上是第二大污染的產業，全球每年製造約9200萬噸的紡織廢棄物，尤其是小朋友的衣服，因為孩子身長速度快速的關係，孩童們常有很大的機率更換衣服，進而造成衣服替換率高。所以我們希望能讓衣服能再次利用，延續其價值。
This is no doubt that the fashion industry is the second most polluting industry in the world. The global fashion industry produces 92 million tons of waste every year. Especially the children's clothes, their clothing size is constantly changing. Growth is the biggest challenge for parents. We hope that these clothes can be reused, through the process of doing and thinking about creation and educating children about the concept of recycling.
設計理念 Design Concept
我們設計這台Etomake，我們期望將這些回收的衣料切割成適合編織的布料/線材，再藉由編織器，讓孩子在家中就能編織出屬於自己的作品，同時也在操作中來教育孩童回收的重要性。
We came up with Etomake. It can cut recycled clothing materials into fabrics/wires suitable for weaving. Then using a knitting board to let children weave their own works at home. It also teaches children about the importance of recycling.
產品介紹 Product Description
裡面會有一台手壓機，將把手下壓刀模就會下壓切斷衣服，下方的抽屜面板使用刀模專用pp塑膠並配合下方2個t型滑軌條，將面板拉出，放好衣服再推入就可開始使用。整體大約是20*20*28公分，上下空隙1.2公分，防止手伸入造成危險。
There is a die cutting machine inside. If you press the handle, the die will be pressed down to cut off the clothes. The lower drawer was made of PP plastic and with the two T-shaped slide strips below. To start using it, you pull the drawer out and put the clothes in. The whole main product is about 20*20*28 cm, and the upper and lower gap is only 1.2 cm to prevent the danger caused by hand penetration.
使用流程 Operation Procedure
對於使用Etomake裁切的衣服，有一些限制：

兒童及大人的衣服都可以進行裁剪，但是越長/越大的衣服會需要折較多層
-
T-shirts的印花面積越小，剪裁和編織時皆會更容易。
Etomake的機台使用方法：

拉出抽屜
-
將折好的衣服放進去
-
將抽屜上的夾子輔助衣服固定在平面上
-
最後壓下把手，即可得到切割好的布料。
For clothes cut with Etomake, there are some restrictions.

Both children's and adults' clothes can be cut, but the longer/larger clothes will need to be folded in more layers.

The smaller the printing area of the T-shirt, the easier it is to cut and knit.
The method of using the Etomake machine:

First pull out the drawer.

Put the folded clothes in.Clips on drawers to aid in securing clothes to flat surfaces.

Finally press down the handle to get the cut fabric.
