摘要 Introduction
音樂，在生活的縫隙裡扮演不可或缺的角色，你曾否想過音樂也可以是一種記憶的儲存格式—像是攝影與書寫般記錄生活？從腦波開始，透過「波」的轉譯實驗創造獨一無二的多感官儲存藝術，正在發生。
Music plays an integral role in our life. Have you imagined that music can be another way to encode “memory”, much like photographs and writing posts. Beginning with brain waves, ERA uses the concept “wave translation”, trying to create a new form of art, a unique multi-sensational recording experience. Change is happening.
設計理念 Design Concept
創意、思考、感受等皆來自於大腦，而音樂在生活裡也扮演著不可或缺的角色。將兩者結合，使用腦波作為音樂生成的素材，將音樂轉換為水與光，接著透過與觸覺控制器的互動，編輯了音樂，也編輯了屬於你的一段感受與回憶。ERA打造了生活故事的新載體，在各種波與感官之間轉換輸出；讓音樂成為你我的另一種紀錄格式，而創作的同時就是療癒的過程。
There are various ways to memorize our daily experience. We use brainwave data as the material of music, light, and water waves in ERA, for trying to create a new form of life recording. Users can edit the music by a controller with different kinds of tactile stimulation, thus creating a personalized musical and visual work. We hope the multi-sensational art piece could help people feel and heal themselves with their own waves.
使用流程 Operation Procedure
1.在靜止狀態下戴上腦波儀，直到記錄完成
2.觸摸控制器上的不同區域分別編輯音樂的頻率、音色與音量
3.水波與燈光於輸出裝置根據音樂變化，並且搭配香氛
4.享受你創作的多重感官盛宴
1. Wear the EEG device and stay still until finishing recording.
2. Adjust the frequency, gain and tone of music by touching or pressing different part
3. Combined with fragrance, water waves and light would be adjusted following the change of music on the output device.
4. Enjoy your own multi-sensational feast.
產品介紹 Product Description
腦波儀記錄腦波後利用程式轉換為音樂，製成音樂後再次轉譯為燈光與水波效果，結合香氛於輸出裝置呈現。並且使用者可以藉由觸摸控制器去編輯音樂，進而帶動燈光與水波的變化，達成多重感官的感受與記憶儲存目的，以及在創作過程療癒自己。
After recording the brainwaves, analyzing the data of the brainwaves, and turning the data into an amplitude of acoustic waves by programming. The speakers, light and water waves start to present music with aroma by output device. Furthermore, users can edit the music to change the vision of the water wave through different tactile parts on the controller. ERA not only makes a new storage method of memory and feeling with multi-sensation, but also healing themselves with their own waves.
製作過程 Development Process

測試模型的尺寸與材質透光性，確定結構的強度與抓握的使用者體驗。

實驗內部香氛與音樂呈現模組，以及確認PCB板霧化器和單體的空間。

實際組裝，測試不同光源與水位所產生的水波以及折射後的環境光線變化。透過程式將收集的腦波數據轉譯為音樂，並且同步呈現燈光效果。

Test the size of the model and the light transmission of the material. Then determine the strength of the structure and the user experience.

Test the fragrance and music presentation modules, and verify the space of the PCB, atomizer and driver.

To test the water waves generated by different light sources and water levels as well as the changes in ambient light after refraction.

Translating the collected brainwave data into music and lighting effects by programming.
